Plouezoc’h

In the 17th century, Morlaix was a prosperous port whose prinicple activity was the sale of bales of cotton and linen.

This economic strength made the local inhabitants the target of frequent attacks from the nasty, naughty English!

Finally, exasperated by the frequent sacking and burning of the town, the locals built strong defenses which can still be seen today.
